Dans is a Los Angeles-based storyteller working as a photographer, director, and producer. Their work encompasses music, culture, and the lived experiences of everyday people.

They’ve photographed artists including Anderson .Paak, Deftones, Sleigh Bells, Le Butcherettes, Spoon, and The Used for bands directly, publications, venues, and brands. Their non-scripted directing/producing work has over 150M views across digital platforms, highlighting urgent societal and political matters such as inequities faced by LGBTQ+ and POC, women’s rights, gender constructs, and class disparities. Most recently Dans has been lensing for The Bellwether and RockDNA, and live editing for Vision Matrix.

Their photo-documentary VENICE, spotlighting Venice, CA’s anti-establishment community amid civic neglect, was exhibited throughout LA by Art Share L.A. That work evolved into From Hollywood, With Love, a visual essay on dystopian survival and contradictions across LA. As a writer, their feature screenplay INSOMNIA! ranks in the top 5% of projects on Coverfly, was selected for Stowe Story Labs, and was a semifinalist for Women in Film’s Directors Fellowship.
